The premise of Dixit is simple: players have to guess and have them guess illustrated cards.

Each turn, a player becomes the storyteller who chooses a card and describes it with a phase, word, or sound.

But be careful, to score points, the card must be found only by some of the players.

The message must therefore be both clear and encrypted.

There must be a certain mystery.

It's up to you to be inventive and clever!

In addition to having to find the right drawing, the other players must also choose a card from their hand that is close to the storyteller's description.

The goal here is to mislead others.

Once all the cards have been collected, they are revealed by the storyteller. Players are tasked with finding the image of the storyteller.

Points are then awarded in several ways:

If everyone finds the storyteller's card, the storyteller doesn't score a point. Other players receive 2 points.

If no one finds the storyteller's card, the storyteller doesn't score a point. The other players get 2 points.

If some of the players find the storyteller's card, the storyteller gets 3 points and so do the players who found the card.

If a player points to the wrong card, the player who put down that card and therefore misled, will get 1 point.

The first player to reach 30 points or with the most points when the deck is empty, wins the game of Dixit.
