Discover the pocket-sized version of Mr Jack, the favourite investigation game for strategists!

As in the board version, one player takes on the role of the inspector who tries to unmask Jack the Ripper while his opponent takes on the role of the fugitive criminal.

The difference lies in the game mechanics.

The Hellish Chase is now played on a 3-by-3 board, with each square representing both a London street and one of the nine suspects.

Around the board are placed the counters Holmes, Watson and Police Dog.

Each turn, the first player (the inspector or Jack, in turn) throws 4 action tokens that will allow you to move the investigator tokens, reorient tiles or draw a "suspicious" card.

A suspect is visible if the investigator sees him in the row of streets in front of him.

Suspects hidden by buildings are invisible.

At the end of each round, the player who plays as Jack must say whether the guilty character is visible or not.

If he is invisible, Jack wins an hourglass.

If he collects 6 hourglasses, Jack wins the game (knowing that he can get hourglasses by remaining invisible and drawing "suspicious" cards).

The inspector wins if there is only one suspect left in play at the end of a round.
