Unmatched is fast-paced, fierce and asymmetrical tactical duels, champion against champion. Choose your hero, determine a battlefield, and then use your deck and special abilities to win. Four heroes, four decks, four styles! Unmatched is a skirmish game that pits iconic characters against each other, each with their own unique fighting style with their strengths and weaknesses. The base game features four heroes, but many expansions allow for even more variety of combat. Unmatched Coup de Théâtre allows you to play as Shakespeare, The Three Witches, Hamlet, Titania. Each hero in this expansion has a unique mechanic.

Explosive asymmetry

In each round of the game, players must perform two actions, out of 3 available. Moving the miniatures on the game board, attacks or stratagems: the actions are induced by the cards you have in your hand. These allow you to attack, defend or activate special abilities related to your hero powers. Alice can thus grow or shrink, Medusa can petrify her opponents, etc. Fast and tactical The battles are as fast as they are fierce, with a fluid and intuitive turnaround. Each player must find the best placement on the battlefield in order to be able to attack the opponent in melee or from a distance. Attack and defense cards are played face down, and damage taken can be changed by the text of the cards played. The suspense is therefore total until the reveal of the cards at stake, a moment always full of tension.
