The Custodian Wardens are known among their comrades as watchmen of unfailing composure and patience.

When they accept the robe associated with their office, they solemnly swear to serve as immovable sentinels, a living bulwark girded with auramite that no enemy can cross.

Each Warden takes a personal oath, which he writes himself after a full year of contemplative meditation on the edge of a vertiginous precipice of the Potencée Tower.

Breaking their vow would be worse than death for such warriors, and their determination to keep them strengthens their already formidable will to the point of giving it a frightening intensity.

This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble a squad of 5 Custodian Wardens.

They are immediately recognizable by their ceremonial robes and auramite armor, which gives them a splendid air – as always with the Adeptus Custodes, covered with carved symbols of the Emperor, with imperial eagles, lightning bolts, gems and filigree galore.

Each of them can be armed with either a Guardian's Spear or a Castellan's Axe, with the kit consisting of 5 of each.

The helmets, plumes and leggings in the kit are interchangeable, so you can configure your Wardens to your liking.

The kit optionally allows you to mount a Shield-Captain, which has 2 bare heads, a unique breastplate and shoulder pads, and its own ceremonial robe – it is armed with a choice of a guardian's spear or a castellan's axe, plus a mercycordia.

In addition, one of the miniatures can be assembled as a Vexilus Praetor – in addition to the standard choice of weaponry, he wields a splendid ornate Vexilla.

This kit is supplied in 78 components, plus 5 x 40mm round Citadel bases.
