The vampire Sissendra is a graceful slayer who revels in the bloodbaths she sheds, and the priest of death Aurelias wields powerful, dark magic while his serpent Kennitrix protects him. But there is also the spirit of Solia, linked to one of Hezechiar's iron rings, and dedicated to guiding his disciple towards his inevitable destiny.

Cado Ezechiar, Sissendra and Aurelias made their first appearance in the Black Library novels The Hollow King and Dead Kingdom.
