She is the Bereaved Betrothed, the Spurned Queen, the Veiled Lady, and the Mortarch of Mourning. It is manifest despair, melancholy personified. She is Lady Olynder, whose heart brings together the grief and anguish of all realms. Its power transcends melancholy, for it exudes heart-rending waves of pure desolation. In his presence, mortals are overwhelmed by distress so intense that only the mentally robust do not fall to their knees in despair. This spite and regret are so powerful that a mother could disown her child, a warrior could lower his weapon to accept the inevitable, a heart could refuse to beat.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief. As the Mortarch of Mourning, she is shrouded in an aura of utter grief – this figure evokes deep sadness. Floating above the ground with her wedding dress and ominous veil, we can only make out the contours of her skull. Her tattered bridal train undulates behind her, and the ethereal rags attach the figure to its base. Thorny funerary roses, which grow wherever she is, gird her waist and go up until they make a crown of thorns. She holds in her right hand the Midnight Staff, an ornate scepter surmounted by a polished gem of vitrified sepulchral sand. She is accompanied by 2 macabre Banshees Company Maidens, horrible specters with skeletal faces. They carry gifts – a bewitched sepulchral hourglass gifted by Nagash himself that can be broken with tragic consequences, as well as a closed casket with enigmatic contents; in any case, nothing that promises to be really enjoyable...
