Distantly related to cave and mountain troggoths, Swamp Sloggoths are slow, patient hunters with long, rapturous limbs, who pluck their victims from their burrows or beds. The grots who live among the Kruelboyz turn these clumsy beasts into warhorses, strapping a howdah on their backs to perch on and harass the enemy with their nets and chopping sticks.
While primarily intended to capture beasts and people to entertain the Kruelboyz, the crew of a Swamp Sloggoth otherwise hammers a rhythm that mimics the clash of the hooves of Kragnos, the Death Knell of Empires and the living god of Destruction, as it resonates across the Mortal Realms as it frenzies the orruks and their allies. Usually far from the front lines, the Grot Choppers push their Sloggoths to eliminate vulnerable individuals, while ensuring that around them the Waaagh! is stimulated by the sound of the drum.
