No other troop embodies the warrior methods of the Idoneth better than the Akhelian Guard. Riding Fangmora eels, these warriors fight in flexible formations, ideal for the quick assaults and sudden retreats typical of the stalking tactics favored by the Aelf of the Deep. The Morrsarr Guard is armed with shock spears and galvanic shields, which channel the electricity from its Fangmora mounts into a deadly discharge at close range. Legend has it that Morrsarr Guard formations were so large that the combined power of their biovoltaic blasts blinded and distraught the entire enemy army.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble 3 Morsarr Guards. Each is mounted by a Fangmora Eel, an agile and sinuous enslaved beast controlled by the strong reins and blinders attached to its head, and which attacks with its fang-lined mouth and whipping tail. Akhelian horsemen wear strong cuirasses, although their arms are bare and their legs are protected by chainmail and canvas for the sake of mobility. They are equipped with shock spears and galvanic shields, and feature helmets with splendid crests – a special veil-like model is included to designate the Lochian Prince who leads the unit. The options allow you to ride a musician with a conch shell and helmet revealing his face, plus a standard bearer whose Fangmora eel is equipped with a large pennon. The kit offers many accessories to embellish the frames and bases – nets, ropes, bottles and other lamps.
