Volturnos is his name, and his authority is absolute during the Idoneth assembrales. He rides his Deepmare Uasall, and galvanizes all who serve under him.

A legendary leader, it is said that no one knows how to guess the course of the battle better than Volturnos.

He wields a sword called the Astra Solus that easily cuts through armor leaving a fiery aura in its wake.

He also possesses a shield that has the power to devour hostile sorcery, rendering it completely inoperative.

Indeed, the High King is not content to command his troops from a distance.

This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble Volturnus, High King of the Deep.

Fully prepared for war, he wears splendid heavy plate armor, with ornate leggings and oversized shoulder pads that support his ample, wavy cloak edged with Idoneth symbols.

He wields the Astra Solus, a cruel-looking serrated blade, in his right hand and Cealith, the High King's famous Shield, in his left.

The bald and one-eyed monarch galvanizes his people with the Crest of High Kings, a majestic standard with metal Idoneth symbols and a magnificent jewel.

His mount, Uasall, is a renowned Deepmare, a massive scaly creature with sharp talons in its forelimbs, and its rear splits into three powerful tails.

It is distinguished from other Deepmares by its larger frontal horn.

To enhance the atmosphere, the base features an aelfic roadstone.

This kit is supplied in 45 components, plus a 60mm Citadel round base.

The kit allows, in other words, to assemble an Akhelian King.
