Like a huge mechanical spider, the Triarchal Ranger roams the battlefield on his multiple sharp legs, while a high-ranking Triarchal Praetorian uses his devastating weaponry to disembowel the enemy ranks. The gait of a Triarchate ranger may be strange, but the device moves quickly over even the roughest terrain, with a precision and confidence foreign to the walkers of the lesser races. Although they can receive a wide range of anti-personnel weapons, Triarchal Rangers are more commonly used to hunt tanks. They can easily bypass tracked vehicles, whose sides and rear are even more vulnerable to the firepower of Necron walkers.

Your Triarchy rangers will frequently take the lead in your assaults, advancing swiftly in front of your knuckles to mow down the most stubborn enemies. Like all Necron generals, you'll have identified the need to silence enemy tanks, a mission that will be served wonderfully by the concentrated beam of the Triarchy Rangers' incendiary beam. Then, once enemy armor is out of harm's way, you can assign it to eradicate enemy infantry.
