Warhammer 40,000 - Death Guard: Plagueburst Crawler
Publisher: Games Workshop
The Death Guard's major work is to spread the benefits of Nurgle throughout real space. Biologus Putrifiers play a crucial role in this, as they are the ones who refine the batches of culture broth produced by the Foul Blightspawn, and distill them to magnify them. Their backpack rack is loaded with bubonic pomegranates filled with the worst pathogenic strains from disease factories. Each salvo of these vile devices spreads the epidemic, and the injector guns reward their targets with concentrated doses of ignominy.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble a Biologus Putrifier. He wears the rusty and soiled armor customary in the Death Guard, rich in Nurgle symbolism and adorned with sinister tentacles as one would expect (in addition to the burn marks and dripping on the plates, no doubt the effect of the caustic potions he experiments with) – but we particularly notice the imposing rack of bubonic grenades he has on his back, filled with a dozen explosive containers ripe for spreading the plague. He wields an injector gun, which he seems to reload with a vial of unpleasant concoction; and moreover, with a tentacle, he clutches a plague knife. Even the breathing apparatus of his helmet has a kind of trunk – no doubt to better smell the results of his experiments.
