Biovores are living artillery pieces inflated by the broods of Explosive Mine Spores that grow inside their bodies.

When docking to the ground with their chitin spurs, Biovores undergo violent spasms that throw their volatile offspring into bells, turning them into living ammunition.

Subsequently, gas-filled Mine Spores explode in a hail of bone splinters and acid rain, or drift lazily across the battlefield, ready to detonate when prey approaches.

This plastic kit allows you to assemble a Biovore, a sentient Tyranid mortar, as well as three floating Mine Spores.

The Biovore's heavy silhouette sports a symbiotic dorsal cannon whose spore sac is filled with biological explosives ready to be fired.

Mine Spores can be thrown onto the battlefield by the Biovore, or simply fall from the skies.

The kit features several alternate legs and base elements for the Biovore, as well as three distinct styles of Mine Spores so you can keep variety within your swarm if you're building an entire battery of these artillery beasts.

This kit can also be used to assemble a Pyrovore, a fire-breathing tyranid creature.

This kit is made up of 37 plastic elements and is supplied with 1x 80mm Citadel round base and 3x 25mm Citadel round bases.

These figures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paint.
