They have been designed to stand upright, which adds an extra dimension to the bases of your miniatures. Once you've finished painting your miniatures, simply detach one or more tufts from the plate with tweezers, and glue them directly to your décor. Remember that, even if they are self-adhesive, a little PVA glue may be necessary on some uneven surfaces for a permanent result.
