The Witch Aelves are followers of Khaine who have dedicated their entire lives to serving their bloodthirsty god. To this end, they spend their days perfecting themselves by engaging in mock duels, which are less military practices than religious ceremonies, treated with the same gravity as the reading of holy texts or prayers in other cults. For the Witch Aelves, ritual combat is a way to hone their martial skills and satisfy their thirst for violence. On the battlefield, they dance like pale shadows, trace a bloody wake in an of destruction, and revel in the splashes of severed arteries.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble 10 Witch Aelves. They are only lightly equipped to move faster and more freely under the influence of their religious bloodlust – just a few ornate pieces of armor and thigh-high boots. Each Witch Aelf wields a pair of sharp-edged sacrificial knives, and all of them have dynamic poses as they should be. There are 12 heads in the kit – from 6 different models – all equipped with the characteristic tiara. The head of the unit, or Hag, can be recognized by her tiara decorated with more spikes. There are also 2 banners with 3 different ends to choose from for the standard bearers, and an instrument for the unit's horn player.
The Witch Aelves come in 67 components, plus 10 Citadel 25mm round bases and a banner decal sheet. This kit can, alternatively, be used to assemble 10 Sisters of Slaughter.
