Morathi is a creature of magic, manipulation, and secrecy, the Great Oracle of Khaine, the Queen of Shadow, and the grand matriarch of the Daughters of Khaine. Very ancient, she is a prophetess whose mastery of black magic is unparalleled. In addition to her ability to summon the horrors of the Dark Realm, she has used her sorcery to take on an afflictive form – that of a radiant aelf framed by a pair of wings forged from shadow metal. Her beauty is so supernatural that her opponents are stunned with rapture. This is a fatal mistake, as Morathi wields his Heartflayer spear with cruel efficiency, and his sharp wings are capable of slicing through any limb.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble Morathi. She comes in two different miniatures included in the kit: her elven form called High Oracle of Khaine, and her real monstrous form that is the Shadow Queen. The High Oracle of Khaine is an icy beauty in leather and ornate metal armor. With her gloved hand, she raises her magical spear, Heartflay, as if pointing it at the enemy. Under her large metal headdress, her abundant hair falls down to her back – and if you look at it better, it is intertwined with barbs and blades. It has a pair of wings whose tips drip with blood.
The Shadow Queen is a whole different story – she's almost three times taller with a much more aggressive stance, making her a splendid centerpiece for any Daughters of Khaine collector. In this form, it is its furious serpentine appearance that predominates, for the entire lower part of its body is ophidian and wraps its rings around a thick stone pillar. The upper body wears the same armor and headdress while wielding Heartflay—but his hair here is made of snakes, and the wings have grown disproportionately into a scaly form, with chitinous spikes that are quick to impale the unwary. The base features an Aelfe victim petrified and broken in half by Morathi's gaze.
Morathi comes in 59 components, plus a 100mm Citadel round base and a 40mm Citadel round base.
