Khinerai Heartrenders swoop down from the skies like dark arrows piercing through the clouds to strike the enemy.
Streams of steam still clinging to their bodies, these winged aelfs then brake abruptly and throw their barbed javelins.
These spiked projectiles strike with such force that they can skewer a rider and his mount before crashing into the ground, carried along by their momentum.
If a tempting target presents itself, Heartrenders will forget about ranged attacks and engage them in melee.
This plastic kit contains the components needed to assemble 5 Khinerai Heartrenders.
Although they fly on large, barbed wings, they are distinguished from their Lifetaker siblings by their sinister horned helm.
Their minimal armor emphasizes lightness over protection – larger plates would be a handicap for these aerial killers.
Each Heartrender holds a long barbed javelin and a heartpiercing shield, named for its long, cruel point.
You can assemble a Shryke, or head of a unit – you can recognize her by her loincloth and her distinctive helmet.
The figures are connected to their base via a piece of ruin to give them a dynamic and airy look.
Khinerai Heartrenders are supplied in 61 components, plus 5 Citadel 40mm round bases.
This kit can also be used to assemble Khinerai Lifetakers.
