Yokai is a cooperative game where your communication is limited. Move the Yokai to gather them by family. Interpret the actions of other players and leave them clues to help them guess who is behind the cards!

It's confusion among the Yokai! These Japanese spirits have become intertwined, and to appease them, you will need to group them together with spirits of the same family.

Yokai is a cooperative game in which you won't be able to talk directly about Yokai cards. You'll need to work as a team and use your memory to calm these spirits.

Players try, in a limited number of turns, to gather the Yokai into families: Kitsune, Rokurokubi, Kappa, Oni.

In turn, you can:

either declare that the Yokai are appeased, or

or take your turn.

If you declare that the Yokai are appeased, the game ends and all the cards are turned face up to check that the Yokai are properly grouped together.

If you take your turn, you must observe two Yokai face down, move any Yokai, and then prepare or use a Clue.

These clues will allow you to leave information for other players and thus direct the movements of the Yokai face down to group them together.

Depending on the number of Clues used, you'll get a score, but the important thing is to be able to group the Yokai by family.
