Players take on the role of two Hikers who travel through the Seasons on different hiking trails.

Each season, advance your hikers along the route to acquire resources, Wild Animals bonus tokens, or take photos.

At the end of the course and season, you can book a park to go to later, buy equipment or visit a park by paying for the necessary resources.

When the fourth season ends, you'll score points based on the parks you've visited, photos you've taken, and your personal goals represented by the Year Card.

The Nightfall expansion adds new parks to visit, giving access to new immediate actions, new year cards, and incorporates the new Camping board and tiles.

Some seasonal routes give access to a campsite and its specific actions, but you will have to plan your trips with strategy to benefit from them.
