In Clank!, you play as an adventurer who tries to retrieve artifacts by sneaking underground to steal the Dragon.

Clank!, a game where you have to avoid missteps

As you embark on this underground adventure, your reputation as a thief is on the line. So it's in your best interest to return safe and sound, with your arms full of precious artifacts. But be careful! No missteps will be allowed in this perilous adventure. At the slightest noise... CLANK! The Dragon will reapply to make you pay for your affront. The more artifacts are stolen, the more it will increase his fury. Be quick and discreet, if you hope to see the light of day again!

Clank!, a deckbuilding game

Clank! is a deck-building game. Each player has his or her own deck of cards, the development of which is an important part of the game mechanics.

At the start of the game, you start with 5 cards in your hand, which you will use in the order of your choice. To be able to draw more, you will have to play all of them.

Cards that have these three symbols generate resources automatically. These are of three types:

Skill: You can acquire new cards to improve your deck

Sword: very useful for fighting monsters in the Dungeon

Boot: will be used to move around the game board

Once you've acquired a new card, it's placed directly in your face-up discard pile. When you've played your 5 cards and want to build a new deck, shuffle the cards in your discard pile, then lay your new 5 cards face down. As you acquire new cards, your deck will become more and more capable.

Clank!, a strategic and pragmatic game

At the start of the game, all players have a deck with the same cards. However, where the game gets interesting is that players will be able to strengthen their hands according to the new cards acquired. These cards, which have a wide variety of effects, will guide each player's strategy. Cunning adventurers will have to be pragmatic to keep the best strategy and thus counter that of their opponents. All while avoiding the Dragon's fury.
