The great spirit wisely and uprightly governs the lives of all the inhabitants of the primeval forest.

His passage through our world leaves indelible traces, and the echo of his actions resonates for centuries in every undergrowth and meadow of this enchanted place.

Unfortunately, the time of today's great spirit is numbered, and the ancient forest needs a worthy successor.

In Bitoku, players take on the role of spirits performing all kinds of tasks in order to prove that they are worthy of taking on the duties of the great spirit of the forest.

Will you be able to be chosen as the new protector and guardian of this mystical and wonderful place?

The Journey of the Great Spirit

The game takes place in four rounds representing the last four years of the great spirit's life. Each round is divided into four phases named according to the seasons.

In each phase, you perform actions to earn Virtue Points (now called "HP"). As you gain HP, you advance along the Path of the Spirit that borders the main board.

When climbing, you can gain extra HP by

accomplishing certain objectives. The spirit that advances furthest on this noble path will be declared

Conquer and become the new great spirit!

At the end of the Winter phase of the fourth round, the game ends and the ascent occurs.
