You play as a Vorax extensio (VOREX), an invasive carnivorous plant. Feeding on fungi, insects and water, your objective is to spread quickly, fighting for control of strategic places in the forest that you expand as the game progresses.

The rules of Vorex are very easy to learn but the game offers the feel of a strategy game in a very short time of play, bringing a strong spatial dimension to a simple game engine.

In turn, the players perform two actions, choosing from the 3 possible:

• extend the board by placing forest tiles;
• collect the resources produced by their flowers on the plateau;
• Place a new flower on the tray, paying the required price - they can get a discount if it is next to another of their flowers. Depending on where the flower is placed, it can produce additional resources for the rest of the game, or offer free action immediately.

The game ends when a player places their 13th flower. Each game offers different scoring criteria, which ensures excellent replay value.

You'll need to set up a sufficient production engine, block other players, build the board according to your goals, and place your flowers wisely to win a game of Vorex.
