In this game, players complete Challenges and acquire Traits over the course of the three Acts that form their story. Throughout their adventure, the Heroes will have to choose the paths to follow to overcome the obstacles. Triumph points will be earned by choosing the path of Good, and Tragedy points for darker paths. In case of failure during a Challenge, Experience points will be awarded. In Epic Origins, the heroes will have a common goal: to defeat a terrible Adversary, at the end of Act III. To defeat him, the heroes will have no choice but to join forces. However, if they manage to beat him, only the person with the highest score of Fate (cards won by the hero during his adventures) will win!
