The epic universe of Vigil, where dimensions collapse and monsters led by the fallen god Samael threaten the balance. You are one of the few warriors who can repel this invasion and protect the world. In "Ascension", your mission is to gather powerful heroes and legendary artifacts to earn the ultimate Honor and save Vigil.

In "Ascension", you compete against other players in a frantic race to accumulate the most Honor. Each player starts with an identical base deck, consisting of 10 cards, which they will upgrade by recruiting heroes and collecting artifacts throughout the game. Each turn, use your resources to buy new cards and defeat monsters, increasing your power and influence.

Build your army, destroy your enemies, and become the eternal champion!

The game board is central to this experience, with piles of cards available to all players. Hero and artifact cards offer unique abilities and strategic advantages, while monsters, when defeated, grant Honor points. The dynamics of the game therefore change from deck building, by establishing a constant race against players when these monsters appear.
