In this asymmetrical game, House Harkonnen must dominate Arrakis with their troops and keep the spices flowing, lest they lose the support of the great powers of the Imperium.
Meanwhile, the young leader of the Atreides turned messiah, Paul-Muad'Dib, must lead the Fremen rebels and struggle with his prescient visions, finding his way between the fate of Arrakis, the inexorable jihad, and the fate of the Kwisatz Haderach.
While the Harkonnens rely on their vehicles, such as Ornithopters and Carryalls, to move their forces and avoid the dangers of the desert, the Atreides harness the power of the desert, leading the colossal sandworms into battle.
Each faction uses different strategies, complemented by their unique leaders and planning card sets, to achieve their own victory conditions.
