The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away, and the Empire has imposed a reign of terror on the galaxy. The Death Star, his newly built battle station, is powerful enough to crush any opposition. And yet, new hope was born. A handful of brave men have decided to stand in the way of the Empire. From their secret base, these Rebels are preparing to overthrow the Empire and restore freedom to the galaxy.

Star Wars Rebellion: An Asymmetrical Conflict!

Star Wars: Rebellion allows players to replay the epic conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Take control of the Empire and use your military might to crush the Rebel base, or initiate a full-scale Rebellion experienced in guerrilla warfare and sabotage. To win the fight, weapons will not be enough. You'll need heroes. These iconic characters will undertake secret missions to further your cause or undermine opposing forces. Send Luke Skywalker to Dagobah for Jedi instruction, or have Darth Vader close the trap that will freeze Han Solo in carbonite!

Each of the two factions has very different strategies and goals. The Rebel Alliance is vastly outnumbered and cannot survive head-on combat. It must remain hidden and rely on subterfuge, guerrilla tactics, and diplomacy to undermine the Empire. The Rebels win the game by gaining enough support to spark a full-scale galactic revolt and overthrow the Empire.

The Galactic Empire is a vast, tyrannical regime that rules many systems in the galaxy with an iron fist. Imperials can easily build terrifying weapons of war in large quantities. Although their forces are numerous, their only chance to extinguish the spark of rebellion is to spread across the galaxy, suppress the uprisings, and search for the hidden rebel base. They win the game by finding where the Rebel base is located and conquering it.
