Eternitium is an excellent gateway to the rich world of deckbuilding. In this deck-building game, your goal is simple on the surface: be the first to get rid of your ten "Eras" cards placed on your board. Each turn, you draw five cards from your deck to try to best combine the technologies you have acquired and the portals you have collected, in order to cross the different eras. The first player to cross all eras reaches the Stone of Immortality... and wins the game.

The Next Gen expansion introduces six new technology cards, including Giga Transporter and Ion Batteries, that shake up established strategies. These additions bring new gameplay mechanics: more interaction between players, "stop or else" effects, and new combo opportunities. Even the most experienced players will have to rethink their approach. Enough to renew the Eternitium experience in depth, without weighing down the rules.
