In Everdell Duo, you play against a single opponent or play cooperatively with another player to get the most points. To do this, you place your workers to collect resources, then use these resources to play face-up cards in front of you and thus build your own forest city. Cards can be played from your hand or from the visible area of the board, the clearing. However, only cards adjacent to the sun or moon token can be taken from the clearing, and these tokens move each turn of the game. As the game progresses, you'll try to complete various events, the conditions of which vary with each game.
