The Wilderness expansion introduces 8 advanced creatures in addition to the existing "classic" creatures. The creatures in this expansion have higher strength values and more exotic powers than those in the base game, which presents a more difficult challenge for players. We recommend that you play the base game before adding this additional content.

In addition to the new creatures, you'll find a module of 11 special environmental tiles. These tiles have special effects. Like geysers, they increase your zest for life and your resistance to winter. In Uncharted Lands, they allow you to place an additional Viking in geyser territory for free at the end of the turn, while your units use its benefits to reinvigorate and prepare to jump into the fray!
