War of the Ring - Warriors of Middle-earth introduces a new game element: Factions. They include several groups and creatures that, during the War of the Ring, supported either the Free Peoples or the Shadow.
The Shadow Factions and Free Peoples now have their own rules and maps. One Action die per Faction and a 3rd pack of Event cards are added. The Call to Battle rule will also allow players to involve their factions in combat.
Requires base game.
